The Portuguese press consider Nélson Oliveira’s move to Norwich City as done. The player reportedly had his medical and signed a contract last night.
The only disagreement between the newspapers is about how much the Canaries are paying for the striker.
A Bola says the signing should cost around €5m. O Jogo claims Norwich are paying €3m, but there add ons which could make the move cost up to €7m.
During the past few weeks, the 25-year-old was also linked to Swansea City, Nottingham Forest, Sheffield Wednesday and Birmingham City.
O Jogo also claims that the talks between Benfica and Norwich were intensified in the past few days, after it was considered that Oliveira had no chance to join Swansea City again. The formal announcement should be made tonight.
Oliveira already had two loan spells in British football. He spent six months at Swansea City in 2015, when he scored one goal in 11 appearances, and also played for Nottingham Forest last season, which he finished with nine goals in 29 matches.
