According to a claim in the Italian media Stoke City and Watford are ‘heavily interested’ in Ajax attacker Amin Younes.
The Germany international will be out of contract next summer, and subsequently Stoke City and Watford will be able to speak to the 24 year old from next week, with regards to a pre-contract agreement.
TMW have reported on Napoli’s pursuit of Younes, as they look to close a deal for the German attacking midfielder.
The Serie A leaders have offered the player €1.5m a season on a five year deal, but they will have act quickly with interest from the two Premier League clubs.
The Italian football outlet say Stoke City and Watford have joined the race for Younes, and will prove strong competition to Napoli.
Younes joined Ajax in 2015, and has gone on to make 64 league appearances for the Dutch side, scoring 12 goals. His performances for Ajax earned him a call up to the German national team in May, and he’s gone on to play five times for his country.
