Barely used by Mark Hughes this season, the future of Bojan Krkic has been widely discussed in the Spanish press over the past week or so, with a move to Valencia becoming an increasing possiblity.

On Monday, SuperDeporte explained that Stoke City were aware of the interest from the La Liga club for the Spanish forward, although Bojan is just ‘an alternative’ for Zaza.

The same website take it a few steps further on Thursday the player is now aware of the interest from Valencia, and that he is ‘seduced’ by the idea of leaving the bet365 Stadium if it comes in the form of a return to Spain.

Valencia, who have struggled heavily in La Liga so far this season, have made it clear they are only looking for players who want to play for the club, and Bojan appears to fall in that category.

This is key for the Spanish side, who have struggled to convince players to join them due to their recent form, making the former greats a less attractive prospect than in the past.

Of course, there’s a lot still to be done, but if Bojan, who has only started five times in the league this season, wants to leave, especially for more than the £1.5m they paid for him back in 2014, we doubt they’d stand in his way.
