With Stoke now dropping down to the Championship, a quick fire sale is most likely on its way at bet365 Stadium, with Xherdan Shaqiri at the front of the queue.

The Swiss winger has a clause in his contract that allows him to leave the Potters for around £12m in case of relegation; one that will most likely get triggered by a club this summer.

Over in Turkey, the general consensus has been of an interest from Galatasaray, but A Spor recently suggested Tottenham could ruin the Süper Lig club’s fun by wading in.

Back in his home country, Blick have covered the situation, and they believe there’s little chance of their country’s star swapping England for Turkey just yet, preferring to move to one of the ‘big’ leagues in the summer.

They say he ‘most likely won’t’ be moving to Galatasaray, and that his future could be sorted very quickly, stating it’s ‘quite possible’ a decision will be made before Switzerland’s game against Brazil on June 17th.

A ‘bargain’ at that price after eight goals and six assists last season in the Premier League, rumours suggest it’s either a return to Italy or an England stay for Shaqiri.
