Fotomac say Trabzonspor are close to signing Spartak Moscow defender Serdar Tasci.
Karadeniz Firtinasi have been chasing the German defender for almost a year, and the player has also been linked with Stoke City in recent days.
Tasci is expected to be presented as a Trabzonspor player tomorrow, according to the Turkish claims, which is the day the club celebrate their 50th anniversary. It’s claimed Tasci has agreed a three year deal with Trabzonspor, and will earn €1.8m a season.
Last week we covered reports from Russia that said Stoke City had a real chance of turning their Tasci interest into something concrete. Mark Hughes would have a shot at signing the player because Spartak were keen to offload.
At the time it was reported it was unlikely Stoke City would offer Tasci the €3m a season salary he’s reportedly earning in Russia, but given he’s accepted much less to head to Turkey this shouldn’t have been an issue.
