Manolo Gabbiadini’s future at Napoli is quite uncertain, with the Serie A club hoping to sell him in the near future. The Italian forward was wanted by several clubs during the summer, but Napoli were reluctant to sell him.
Gabbiadini has failed to make an impact after the departure of Gonzalo Higuain, and in the absence of Arkadiusz Milik.
According to a latest report on Sky Italia (via Tutto Mercato Web), Stoke City are in pole position to sign Gabbiadini. Sky Italia believe Gabbiadini is expected to leave the Serie A club in January, and the forward is also generating interest from clubs in Germany.
It’s been reported Stoke City, as of now, have an advantage. Earlier there have been reports claiming Everton could also revive their interest in Gabbiadini.
The player’s future is a favourite for the Italian media and all sorts of claims have therefore been made. However, it would be odd to dream up the idea of Stoke City interest, which may suggest there’s something in this one.
