According to Turkish newspaper Milliyet, Besiktas have been offered the chance to sign Badou Ndiaye from Stoke City.
The Senegalese midfielder spent the second half of last season on loan with fellow Super Lig club Trabzonspor, and Milliyet report he’s now close to a move to Besiktas.
It’s reported Besiktas officials have held talks with Ndiaye and they’ve presented their offer to him. The 29 year old is said to be happy with the offer, and is ready to accept it.
The Turkish side are in the market for a central midfielder after parting ways with Mohamed Elneny and signing Ndiaye could be a good piece of business for the Black Eagles.
Milliyet give no information whether this will be loan or a permanent deal but given Besiktas’ financial situation it’s more likely to be a temporary move.
Ndiaye made 23 appearances for Trabzonspor last season, scoring one goal and providing five assists. His contract with Stoke City will expire at the end of June 2022.
