Fanatik claim Premier League side Stoke City are looking to up their offer for Besiktas defender Dusko Tosic.
Tosic has been linked with a move to Stoke City in recent days, but the Premier League side will face competition from Celtic, as Brendan Rodgers looks to bring in players next month.
It’s claimed Stoke City are looking to offer €4m for Tosic, as Mark Hughes looks to add to his squad in January.
Tosic may be forced to leave Besiktas because of the arrival of Croatia international Domagoj Vida this week, and it seems Stoke City are very much in the mix to sign the Serbian.
Besiktas manager Senol Gunes reportedly wants to partner Vida with Pepe, and subsequently Besiktas are considering offers for Tosic.
We recently covered the reports from the Turkish press that Celtic wanted to bolster their defensive options in January, and Tosic could be brought in by the Scottish Premiership champions.
It was claimed Celtic were ready to table a bid in the region of €3m to sign the former QPR player.
The Serbia international would be brought in as competition for current Celtic defenders Eric Sviatchenko, Jozo Simunovic and Dedryck Boyata.
