Valencia have Tottenham Hotspur’s Bryan Gil ‘still on the agenda’, according to Plaza Deportiva.

The 21-year-old arrived at the north London club last summer and failed to start a league game in the first half of last season.

In need of more game time, Tottenham let the winger join Los Ches on a loan deal in January.

Valencia have appointed Gennaro Gattuso as their new manager for the 2022/23 season. The report explains the Italian prefers inverted wingers, but at the same time the Spurs player is to his liking, if Gonçalo Guedes were to move elsewhere this summer.

After the end of last season, the Spanish club met Tottenham to find out the conditions to sign Gil again. Valencia found out Antonio Conte’s side prefer to sell him, but there has been no movements so far on this front.

If Spurs don’t receive any convincing proposals, it is ‘likely’ they will authorise a loan transfer of Gil to Valencia.

To sum it up, Valencia are still interested in Gil. His arrival at Mestalla is conditioned to Guedes’s exit and Tottenham letting him go out on a temporary deal.
