At the end of June, The Daily Mirror linked Hull City with a move for Raul Bobadilla. Headlining their piece ‘Hull boss Steve Bruce considering move for Augsburg striker Raul Bobadilla’, it was explained that Bruce wants to add strength upfront.
Quality and a good mix in the forward department are often the difference between relegation and survival for teams making the step up to Premier League football.
Bobadilla plays for Augsburg and his contract lasts until June 2018, it was only renewed last August but German newspaper Bild believe an exit on the cards.
On Wednesday, Bild look at various possible ins and outs for Bundesliga clubs, and Bobadilla is on a list of Augsburg players still heading for the exit. The newspaper believe he has two possible destinations: England and China.
If a Chinese club comes in and offers the 29 year old a pile of money so high it touches the moon, then Hull are likely out, if not this one could still be bubbling on the back-burner.
