Croatian newspaper Vecernji List has an article today on the upcoming transfer business for Dinamo Zagreb.
Borna Sosa, a 20 year fullback, is joining Stuttgart, 21 year old attacking midfielder Ante Coric (he of many Spurs transfer rumours of the past) is expected to join AS Roma, and then there’s Filip Benkovic.
It’s stated: ‘No matter where, Inter, Tottenham… whoever pays €20m, will have him.’
That’s it, it’s a long article but given it’s mainly on what will be done in Zagreb once players go, there’s no elaboration on the interest.
Tottenham have been linked to Benkovic previously, both last summer and around the winter window, but there was nothing especially strong.
The 20 year old is a 6ft 4in central defender, and with Spurs linked with a string of possible Toby Alderweireld replacements, Benkovic may be somewhere on the long list.One to certainly keep an eye on, but there’s no claims yet of talks being held or any offers expected.
