Catalan newspaper Mundo Deportivo stir the pot at Real Madrid once again in their Monday edition.
Gareth Bale’s good performance, and goals, against Real Sociedad only served to show how his star is rising in contrast to James Rodriguez.
The Colombian is slipping further out of the picture at Real Madrid, and it was no surprise he didn’t start the match.
Coming on for the last 15 minutes, James failed to have much of an impact and stories continue to be published about the player’s future.
Concern with James’ attitude has been repeatedly claimed, and it’s not felt he’s truly giving everything in an attempt to force his way into the plans of Zinedine Zidane.
Mundo Deportivo say James is ‘very much a secondary player’ for his manager, and that a galactico exit looms. Chelsea’s alleged interest is described as something tempting for those considering an exit.
Just how real Chelsea’s interest is, would be unclear. Another Catalan newspaper, Sport, were pushing it last week and then it was followed up by English newspapers on Sunday. There doesn’t seem a great deal concrete or reliable in the claims just yet.
