Chelsea midfielder Charly Musonda reportedly had his loan spell at Real Betís cut short after the London club’s request. According to Sport, the player is already training with the Blues in England after leaving the Spanish side.

Chelsea now would find another club to send Musonda on loan, as Antonio Conte reportedly has no intention to bring the player to the first team squad for this season.

The reason why the club called the player back is said to be due to failing to get a sequence of games at Betis, mostly because of many injuries.

Musonda had a very impressive first loan spell at Betis, and that’s why the Spanish side worked hard to renew the deal last summer. There were many clubs interested, but Chelsea also thought it would be a good idea to keep him where he was.

However, things didn’t continue as expected, and now the player should be joining a new club. No destinations have been rumoured so far.
