Lucas Moura has a ‘proposal on the table’ to sign for Manchester United, report L’Equipe in their Sunday edition, as they take a look at the PSG player’s situation.

It’s explained Lucas is in no rush to make a move and could leave a transfer until the summer transfer window, despite having interest from clubs for a January move, including Manchester United.

Whilst Lucas is still to finally make up his mind, it seems the Premier League club aren’t 100% convinced either.

The Brazilian is on Jose Mourinho’s ‘shortlist’ but L’Equipe don’t make it sound like Manchester United are throwing everything at this to get a transfer over the line, despite the proposal claim.

That would fit in with claims of serious Alexis Sanchez interest from Old Trafford, with it unlikely Manchester United would look to sign both players before the end of the month.

L’Equipe state Manchester United would rather have a loan with an option to purchase, and that PSG are looking to get €20m for the player in a winter deal.

That figure sounds a lot more realistic than Le Parisien’s current claim of a €40m asking price hanging on Lucas Moura.
