Marseille skipper Steve Mandanda is currently on international duty at the Euros in France, but has a decision to make on his future this summer.

The 31-year-old has refused to sign a new deal at the Ligue 1 club, and with his current deal expiring this summer, he is expected to leave.

Mandanda has been repeatedly linked to Turkish clubs, and Everton in the Premier League, but it seems another club from the Premier League have taken the most concrete steps.

According to French newspaper L’Equipe on Sunday, Crystal Palace made contact at the end of the season, and recently returned to continue negotiations.

L’Equipe say discussions have taken well between both the parties, and that Mandanda has a good chance of signing for the Premier League side.

Everton were also said to be interested, but haven’t come up with a concrete proposal.

Crystal Palace boss Alan Pardew has always preferred to sign players from Ligue 1, so this doesn’t really come as a surprise.

On Saturday L’Equipe said Mandanda saw a move to England or Spain as a dream… it could be about to come true.
