Liverpool are in the picture to sign Brighton & Hove Albion star Moisés Caicedo, according to AS.

The midfielder has decided to change agents and is now represented by Fútbol División, led by Spanish agent Manuel Sierra.

Caicedo’s impressive displays for Brighton this season have seen him draw attention from the Premier League’s ‘big six’, including Liverpool.

The Reds would ‘continue to lurk’ for the Ecuador international, while they also need to be cautious about Chelsea, who are currently the best placed team to secure his services.

It’s further claimed the 21-year-old’s decision to change agents would bring him closer to leaving The Amex in the winter market.

His transfer away from the Seagulls seems to be ‘on track’ in January. The report’s title says Caicedo ‘finalises his departure’ from Brighton.

“Movement is expected next week,” a source close to Brighton told the newspaper.

Liverpool and other clubs are lurking around the South American, who is ready to take on a big challenge at a big club this month.

Brighton are in sixth spot, two points ahead of Jürgen Klopp’s side and the Blues, who are currently ninth and 10th respectively.
