Once again it’s all change at Marseille, with the French club sending their best players away in another attempt to balance the finances. In what seems like a never ending struggle for Marseille, players are leaving and being replaced by cheaper versions and low cost loans.

After reports surfaced in France that Georges-Kévin N’Koudou would likely be joining Tottenham Hotspur for around €13m, regional newspaper La Provence back things up. They say the footballer is expected to arrive in London ‘in the coming hours’ in order to have a medical ahead of a transfer to Tottenham.

Marseille themselves are also looking to take players in, with a move for Tottenham’s Clinton Njie also expected, although it’s also expected Spurs and Marseille to find it difficult to agree on loan terms, with the French club no doubt wanting very beneficial terms for the player.

21 year N’Koudou is primarily a left winger but can also play on the right, he’s both footed and has a contract with Marseille until June 2020.

There’s going to have to be name-tags at Marseille pre-season training.
