Until Adrien Rabiot signs for a club in the January window, or agrees a pre-contract deal ahead of the summer, there’s going to be endless transfer rumours.

And Tottenham are going to be a part of that.

The Premier League club were linked with Rabiot the last time he had a contract stand-off with PSG, which resulted in him staying with the French side, and they’ve popped up repeatedly since.

A few weeks ago it was stated the player had snubbed Spurs, but several reports since have suggested that isn’t the case.

With PSG looking to get some money this month, their friends at Tottenham have been seen as a good possibility. Following the sales of Serge Aurier and Lucas Moura, which the Ligue 1 champions were pleased with, there’s been the possibility of future business.

Tuesday’s edition of Sport looks at interest from several clubs and claims Spurs are hardening in their chase, along with Chelsea.

However, signing for Mauricio Pochettino’s side would bring the player into ‘conflict with his salary policy’.

That still doesn’t rule them out, it seems.
