Arsenal grabbed a 5-1 win over Sporting CP in the Champions League on Tuesday evening and it lifted them up to seventh in the competition’s table.

Gabriel Magalhães was on the scoresheet for Arsenal in the game and so were Kai Havertz, Gabriel Martinelli, Bukayo Saka and Leandro Trossard. It is the centre-back’s goal and reaction that caught most attention, as he copied Sporting star Viktor Gyokeres’ iconic celebration.

The Swedish striker didn’t score in the game and after the tie, he spoke to reporters and was asked about the Gunners star’s celebration.

Gyokeres sent a little dig back to the 26-year-old. He said, as relayed by O Jogo: “It’s funny that you like my celebration. Feel free to steal it if you can’t create your own celebration.”

Whether the celebration from Gabriel Magalhães was meant to mock the 26-year-old striker or not is unclear.

Both sides are at ten points in the Champions League table. Arsenal have games against Girona, Dinamo Zagreb and Monaco coming up and that could make their task of qualifying for the next stage easier.
