According to Greek website Sdna.Gr, Panathinaikos sporting director Nikos Dabizas will sit down and talk with Newcastle United manager Steve Bruce with regards to the arrival of new players.
The Greek club have linked with Callum Roberts and Rolando Aaron during this transfer window as they look to strengthen their squad for next season.
It’s looking likely the former Newcastle United defender will be hoping to loan players and give youngsters much needed first team football.
Sdna claims Dabizas is also still interested in former Newcastle winger Callum Roberts after the 22 year old left the club after his contract expired. It’s reported Roberts has been training with a couple of lower league clubs as he looks to maintain his fitness.
Dabizas played for Newcastle for five seasons and the Greek media believe his good relationship with the English club can benefit Pana in the coming transfer windows. He made 130 league appearances for the Magpies after joining in 1998.
