Chelsea star Kai Havertz could end up at Bayern Munich this summer, thanks to his agents’ extensive links to the club.
That’s at least what BILD journalist Raimund Hinko hints at today, suggesting that the links between Bayern and Havertz may be coming from his agents, who already have players at the Allianz Arena.
The journalist today has a piece covering Serge Gnabry, praising his recent performances, including a double in the 6-0 win over Schalke on Saturday.
That game included a strike from Mathys Tel to make it 5-0, a goal given to him thanks to a superb ball from Jamal Musiala, something Hinko describes a ‘miracle thing’ that has to be taught to most players but comes naturally to the German.
According to him few players have that ability except for Chelsea star Havertz, who ‘has something similar’ in his locker.
He says that the player has ‘not been happy’ at Stamford Bridge ‘for a long time’, hinting he could be on his way this summer as part of the major rebuild at the club.
At this point he brings up who is representing Havertz, explaining that the agency which ‘looks after Gnabry and Sadio Mane’ also happens to represent the Chelsea man.
They also have Konrad Laimer on their books, and he, interestingly, ‘will probably come’ to Munich from RB Leipzig in the summer transfer window. That’s a transfer they’ve done before with Marcel Sabitzer as well.
Thus, he speculates the route is there to take Havertz to Bayern, insisting ‘speculation is allowed’ on that front given the ever-growing links between Havertz’s agency and the German giants.
That is just speculation on his part, but the suggestion is that it is Havertz’s agents who could be pushing the persistent rumours that Bayern are interested in him, as they have been from before his move to Chelsea in the first place.
