Eden Hazard left Chelsea for Real Madrid in 2019 and scored a brace in his last match for the London club, helping the Blues beat Arsenal in the Europa League final.

Since arriving at the Bernabéu, the forward has struggled with injuries and poor form. He has been restricted to only 53 appearances, managing five goals and nine assists in the process.

The 30-year-old is currently a substitute under Carlo Ancelotti, who has publicly stated there are other players ahead of the Belgium international.

Ancelotti even opened the door for the player to leave in January, if he is not happy with his situation at Real Madrid.

Mundo Deportivo explain Hazard’s situation has ‘become a real problem’ for the La Liga side. It’s even stated the attacker could leave in January or next summer, if things ‘do not change radically’.

Despite his struggles, Hazard has suitors in the Premier League and ‘specifically Chelsea’, the club where he became one of the best players in the world.

If he wants to leave, Ancelotti will ‘not pose many problems’. The Spanish giants, for their part, would not see Hazard’s departure with bad eyes.

Although Chelsea are pushed forward as a suitor, for now, Hazard wants to wait and see how his situation at Real Madrid will evolve in the coming months.
