Federico Chiesa was not in Liverpool’s squad for their 1-0 win over Leicester City.

After scoring for the Reds in their Carabao Cup final loss, the Italian has made only one Premier League appearance.

With the season now approaching its end, things aren’t looking bright for Chiesa at Liverpool and Calciomercato have looked at his possible options in the summer.

They state the winger’s ‘spark has never been ignited’ with Arne Slot. It’s also believed Mohamed Salah signing a new deal at Anfield has made sure Chiesa’s hopes of staying at Liverpool have faded away.

The ex-Juventus player’s goal is to return to Serie A and make sure that he recovers his spot in the Italian national team, so that he can play at the World Cup in 2026.

As of now, Inter Milan is the most viable option. The Nerazzurri CEO Beppe Marotta has been a fan of the player for a while and Joaquin Correa’s summer exit can bring about a move for Chiesa.

Napoli is a possibility, because Antonio Conte is likely to ask for a winger of the Italian’s profile in the summer.

Roma can also become an option but their move will depend on who they appoint as their next manager.

Chiesa will have to take a wage cut to return to Italy.
