In today’s edition of Catalan newspaper Sport, they look at how the players who left Barcelona, either on loan or permanent transfer, are performing at their current club.

Gerard Deulofeu joined Watford on loan earlier in January and his move to Vicarage Road was made permanent in the summer transfer window.

The Hornets paid €13m to secure his services, but the attacker is yet to make an appearance for his side this season as he’s still recovering from an injury.

Javi Gracia revealed the attacker has been on the sidelines because he went on a holiday with a problem in his foot, and admitted that he expects the player to back in action “soon”.

The English club won their first four matches and have the same number of points as Chelsea and league leaders Liverpool.

Deulofeu had no ‘prominence’ in his side’s impressive start to the season, but Sport claims the Spaniard is the ‘signing star of the project’ after joining Watford on a permanent deal.

Therefore, it’s expected that when he takes to the pitch the impact will be big… no pressure Gerard.
