According to Efe (via Marca), Granada’s Provincial Prosecution are asking for the player to be imprisoned for two years plus a fine of three thousand euros.
The investigation has found out that people were using a pen with erasable ink so the examiners could input the right answers after the test was delivered.
Besides Ighalo, 94 other people are being accused of the same crime, including his former Granada teammate Diego Buonanotte.
The value charged for the dirty work was between €1.5k and €2.5k. Ighalo is now expected to attend court in Granada so he can comment on the matter.
This case is very similar to what happened to Victor Valdes a few months ago, when the Middlesbrough goalkeeper was accused of having a fake licence to be in charge of a boat. The report claimed that footballers, actors and other celebrities paid between €2k and €3k for the process.
