Well, it appears that Arsenal fans have finally managed to get their wishes granted.

Ever since Martin Ødegaard arrived on loan from Real Madrid, there was a desire to make the move permanent, and now that appears to be a done deal.

The past 24 hours or so have seen a huge amount of positive updates suggesting the Norwegian star was heading to Arsenal on a permanent deal, and Cadena SER, via their show Carrusel Deportivo, believe it is now completed.

Taking to Twitter to announce the news, the radio show are very to the point with their information, which might be short, and yet it gives the Gunners fanbase all the news they need.

They state Ødegaard ‘has been sold to Arsenal’, and it ‘just needs to be made official’.

The Norway international was a fan favourite throughout the second half of the season, and with Carlo Ancelotti seemingly not against a sale from Real Madrid, it appears a deal was struck swiftly and efficiently by the Arsenal transfer people.
