Back in January, reports from Spain claimed that Nottingham Forest tried to sign Antonio Raillo from Real Mallorca.

And in an interview a month later, the player himself admitted that he had the chance to join the Championship side.

Now Forest could make another attempt to sign the 27-year-old, according to reports from the local media today.

Outlet El Mundo says that after trying to get him in January, ‘it’s not ruled out’ that the English side come up again to get the transfer done.

Raillo is currently protected by a release clause of only €4m, and that’s the reason why Mallorca are so concerned about the situation, planning to give him a new contract as soon as possible.

El Mundo claims that Mallorca now have better conditions to offer him a good deal and convince him to reject the chance to move to England again.

But Raillo said the move was a ‘good opportunity’ back in February, so we wonder what he would think if having this same chance now.
