Let’s be honest: even with Chelsea’s transfer ban for January being lifted, Tammy Abraham isn’t going anywhere.

The young forward has been a revelation under Frank Lampard since the start of the season, scoring 11 goals and picking up three assists in 14 Premier League games so far, which hasn’t gone unnoticed around Europe.

Whether or not Barcelona are actually interested remains to be seen, but Mundo Deportivo put a list of five potential Luis Suárez replacements together after the Uruguayan recently explained the club would have to eventually find someone new to lead the line as he isn’t getting any younger.

Names like Marcus Rashford, Erling Haaland and Lautaro Martínez are in there, and, right at the bottom, comes Tammy Abraham.

We’ll be honest with you, the only reason he’s there is because he has scored a lot of goals, and there’s no indication Barcelona are keen.

The other four names all include some suggestion there is some criteria about said player the La Liga side like, but for Abraham, it’s just his ability to find the back of the net and his age that granted him a place on this list.

This shouldn’t be any cause for worry for Chelsea fans, but we all know how things get at this time of the year, and one name on a list can turn into a big mess of a non-existent transfer story.
