Leeds United are once again being linked with Jese Rodriguez, this time by Estadio Deportivo in Spain.

The Seville sport newspaper claims Marcelo Bielsa’s side are interested in the PSG owned player and considering making a move for him.

Jese moved to Betis on loan in the winter transfer window with the hope of rediscovering his best form back in Spain. It didn’t go to plan, and he only managed two goals in eighteen appearances for the club.

Estadio Deportivo clearly don’t believe Betis will be trying to sign the player permanently.

In February, El Desmarque stated, according to their own sources, that Leeds United fought ‘until the end’ to get him in the winter market.

It was claimed Jese came close to making the transfer but there were doubts about moving to English football on a short loan period, given the settling in time which may have been required.

It would have been a big gamble.

Since Real Madrid, 26 year old Jese is best known for being an almighty flop at PSG, his reggaeton career attempts, arguing over social media with his ex, and being a disaster of a loan signing at Stoke City.

He still has two years left on his PSG contract.
