It’s been a long time coming, but it appears Chelsea’s Eden Hazard will very soon be a Real Madrid player.

It’s not exactly a secret, and the player admitted the transfer was underway himself, but recent reports suggested the Blues were making it rather difficult for Real Madrid.

Well, according to El Chiringuito, everything is now going in the right directions, with the show’s host claiming the deal could be done in the ‘next few hours’.

As we all know, that could mean anything, but Josep Pedrerol is kind enough to add more detail, explaining this means sometime between “this afternoon” and “tomorrow”, being Thursday.

The details of the deal haven’t completely filtered, but El Chiringuito do believe the fee paid by Real Madrid will be somewhere around the €100m, which corroborates all the other reports on the matter.

The 28-year-old arrived at Chelsea from Lille back in 2012, and has since become one of the best players in the world in his position, scoring 110 goals and picking up 92 assists in 352 appearances for the Blues.

He enjoyed one of the best league campaigns of his career this season, finding the back of the net 16 times and helping his teammates out with 15 assists.
