As the River Plate striker is joining the Premier League side this summer, there’s now some doubt whether he’d be used by Pep Guardiola in case the Borussia Dortmund star actually joins the squad as well.
Now when reading the Spanish media, it seems there are clubs looking to take advantage of the situation, because according to Fichajes, Sevilla are now interested in signing Alvarez.
Sevilla already signed Anthony Martial on loan from Manchester United in January, and could now make a ‘similar operation’ to land Alvarez from Manchester City.
Now since not everything is sorted by Pep Guardiola’s side yet, it’s probably safe to say we won’t have an outcome for this story anytime soon.
