It’s not too hard to work out that those representing Bojan have a good relationship with Sport.

The Catalan newspaper is often first with Bojan related news and sometimes feels like something of a PR engine for the Stoke City player.

Earlier this month Sport claimed Porto and Benfica were both keen to sign the footballer, but the story never really took off and it felt like his name was being pushed out to the transfer market.

Today they report Bojan wants to play in the Champions League and is trying to get Stoke City to agree to a loan move. The latest destination would be Red Star, a club his father played for.

Red Star have drawn Liverpool, PSG and Napoli in the Champions League and are looking to improve their options. Sport claim the club contacted Bojan’s agents a few days ago and the response was positive.

Negotiations are said to be continuing with Stoke and there’s some confidence a move can happen.
