Ander Herrera is on the verge of leaving Manchester United, report AS on Monday evening.

Last week it was reported the midfielder was in talks with PSG about moving to the French club on a three year deal.

Having come out in the past and rubbished media stories, it was perhaps significant that Herrera chose not to this time.

Someone close to the player did reportedly speak to Mundo Deportivo and talk down the claims, but there was no name attached to the update.

Herrera himself gave an interview to the Spanish media at the weekend and didn’t take the opportunity to dismiss the story, instead saying he’d leave it to his agent to deal with, the same way he’d left a Manchester United renewal.

AS say PSG are now ‘very advanced’ on the track. The negotiations are in the ‘final stretch’ for Herrera to move to France on a three year contract.

Manchester United are said to have offered their player £100k a week to renew, but PSG have in turn offered £150k.
