Serbia face Moldova and Austria over the international break, in two World Cup Qualifiers which are really important after the country failed to qualify for Euro 2016.

The match against Moldova should be straightforward. Serbia have a better team, a far better squad, and even though they’re playing away, they’re big favourites.

The problem for Serbia is that they seem to have a problem when facing ‘outsiders’, and performances drop.

Southampton attacker Tadic has been quoted by Serbia’s Mondo as saying: “In the previous game (against Republic of Ireland) we deserved the victory. It never happened, but we have confidence because of good games. I hope we can against Moldova get the three points.

“We had a problem in the past with outsiders, but I hope that this will not happen again and that we will have maximum concentration as we enter the match.”

Mondo point out recent bad results have come against the likes of Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Finland, Armenia and Estonia. Southampton’s Tadic really doesn’t want to be adding Moldova to that list.
