Just outside the relegation zone in Ligue 2 when the table was called and the season ended, Paris FC can now look forward to another campaign in France’s second-tier.

They’ve bolstered their squad ahead of the new challenge with three new arrivals, but they could also lose one of their more exciting talents in Noé Masevo, as Southampton F.C. ‘appreciate’ his profile.

This is what Foot Mercato were reporting late on Wednesday night, claiming the Saints are one of a number of clubs interested in the versatile midfielder.

Capable of playing in most roles in the middle of the park, the 18-year-old has caught the eye with his performances, which the website explain have been ‘supervised’ by Southampton throughout the season.

They aren’t the only ones, however, as two unnamed Italian sides, one from Serie A and the other from Serie B, are also after his services.

Masevo has yet to make a first-team appearance, but played a number of games with Paris FC’s reserves in National 3.

He is under contract at the club until June 2021, meaning this would be an ideal time for interested clubs, like Southampton, to pounce.
