Last October, we covered claims from Spain which stated Sevilla were dreaming of signing Wolverhampton Wanderers’ Pablo Sarabia in the winter market.

The Andalusian club weren’t able to sign him and are still keen on a move in the summer window.

That’s according to Vamos Mi Sevilla FC, who state the La Liga side are making advances to secure the Wolves player’s services.

Sarabia’s contract expires in June and his future may be away from the Premier League club.

The attacking midfielder spent three years at Sevilla between 2016 and 2019, and the report states he wants to return to his former club. This pleases the Spanish club as they would favour a free transfer due to their financial conditions.

The former Paris Saint-Germain man’s contract situation and his willingness to return to the club make it ‘feasible’ for Sevilla to sign him.

Sources close to Sarabia’s entourage state there’s an agreement in place for his return to Sevilla.

There are no further details of the agreement between the 32-year-old and the La Liga club. Sevilla seem to be optimistic of his return in the next window.

Sarabia managed a goal and an assist from 19 games for Vítor Pereira’s side this season.
