Despite several reports from Italy saying that Alexis Sanchez’s transfer from Manchester United to Inter Milan is done, claims from the Chilean press now tell otherwise.
Newspaper El Gráfico managed to speak to people from the Italian club’s board, and learned that there has been no agreement with the Premier League side yet.
“Not yet,” a source from Inter Milan told El Gráfico. “We’re waiting for Manchester United’s answer”.
El Gráfico learned that the current issue is the percentage of Alexis Sanchez’s salary which each club will pay during his loan spell.
That’s all El Gráfico have to say for now, besides adding that Sanchez trained normally at Carrington on Tuesday morning.
The Italian press has indeed been claiming that a deal for the Chilean star is very close. Earlier today, we’ve covered reports saying the player should fly to Milan in the next couple of days, as he would be ready to have his medical and sign for Inter Milan.
But perhaps Manchester United still need to give their approval first.
