According to a claim in the Swedish media, it’s looking likely Pawel Cibicki will be returning to Leeds United this summer and, therefore, ‘could be lost’ by Elfsborg.
The attacker is currently on loan with Elfsborg after failing to make an impact since joining Leeds United in 2017.
Fotboll Direkt have reported on the latest developments regarding the future of Cibicki and they say there’s currently no loan extension on the table for Elfsborg, despite his importance to the team.
The 24 year old been one of the standout signings since he retuned to Sweden in the last transfer window, but he could soon set for a return to England.
The Leeds United loanee recently went on record to say he would be interested in remaining in his home country, but it was in the hands of Elfsborg and his parent club.
Since joining the Allsvenskan side in January, Cibicki has scored four goals in twelve games in the league.
