On Thursday, a couple of reports from Italy suggested Manchester United were interested in Douglas Costa and Federico Bernardeschi.
The Juventus pair are among those the Serie A side would be willing to let go this summer, but only for the right price.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was said to appreciate both profiles, and Corriere dello Sport even went as far as saying Manchester United had made a €30m offer for the Brazilian.
They echo that on Friday, following in Gazzetta dello Sport’s footsteps in saying the Norwegian manager has ‘inserted’ Costa’s name on the list of players he wants bought to Old Trafford following the semi-final exit in the Europa League.
Juventus are asking for ‘at least’ €40m for the winger, and it’s reiterated the first offer of €30m wasn’t enough.
Costa is still worth €22m on Juventus’ books, but the idea is to make a profit that could ‘give oxygen’ to their bank account.
On top of that, there’s a third player in Turin that ‘doesn’t displease’ Solskjaer, and that’s Aaron Ramsey.
Not a lot is said about the Welshman, but there’s little to say other than he’d cost some money and would likely improve Manchester United’s midfield, which still needs a bit of work here and there.
Either way, Solskjaer appears to be eyeing up three different players at Juventus, but we’ll have to wait and see how badly he wants them.
