Following his departure from West Ham United, Slaven Bilic may be set for a quick return to management, after claims in the Turkish media he could land the Fenerbahce job.
The 49 year old was dismissed on Monday, and today David Moyes was named as his replacement.
Fanatik report Fenerbahce are interested in the former West Ham manager if they look to replace current coach Aykut Kocaman. The Turkish giants have picked up just two points from their last two games, which has put pressure on Kocaman.
The Turkish newspaper also say Kocaman has fallen out with his squad and the Fenerbahce board, which could ultimately lead to him being sacked.
Bilic would be a popular figure to replace Kocaman, but It’s currently unknown whether he would want another difficult challenge after his experience at West Ham.
However, the Turkish media are adamant that he’d be interested in managing a club like Fenerbahce, given the success he had during his previous spell in Turkey.
Bilic managed Besiktas before taking the West Ham job, and the Croatian remains a popular figure in the country because of his character and personality.
