Sky Italia sent out a tweet on Tuesday lunchtime claiming Paul Pogba’s agent Mino Raiola has requested a meeting so he could present Manchester United’s transfer offer for the midfielder.

We would assume this meeting would be with Juventus, otherwise there wouldn’t really be a lot of point in having it.

The offer is said to be for 100m, with it being a tweet in Italian, we’d have to assume that’s in € and not £.

€100m is less than the €120m figure which has been most used, the €125m figure published on Tuesday by Gazzetta dello Sport, and much less than the €140m figure Turin newspaper Tuttosport pushed this morning.

The ball would then be in Juve’s court, and Pogba’s desire is paramount. You wouldn’t expect his agent to be presenting offers if the player didn’t want a move, but then it’s probably best not to rule anything out!

Similar claims have been made elsewhere in Italy over the past hour, and it’s spreading rapidly. As these things do.
