Last week, we covered a story from Spain explaining that Hadi Sacko’s loan spell at UD Las Palmas wasn’t exactly going as expected.
With the player going in and out of the squad, website Pasion Amarila had a story titled ‘Where is Sacko?’, complaining that the Leeds United player hasn’t lived up to expectations at the Spanish club.
Now it turns out that fans may get more disappointed, because as reported by Mundo Desportivo, Sacko is expected to miss an important game this month.
The player has been called up to play for Mali in the qualifications for the Africa Cup of Nations, and is set to face Gabon on November 17th.
That means that on November 16th, he’s missing Las Palmas’ game against Granada. That’s a big match as their opponents are currently on top of the Liga II table.
Loaned by Leeds to Las Palmas until the end of the season, Hadi Sacko only has 97 minutes played for the Spanish side. He’s made five appearances, and couldn’t make any assists or score any goals so far.
This will be another irritation at Las Palmas and if things haven’t improved by January then Leeds may consider looking for a new loan. They’ll be watching Sacko’s situation and will hope things can change soon.
