With Monday expected to be a busy day across the United Kingdom, it isn’t all that surprising to see Rangers F.C. somewhat active on the transfer market, wanting to give Giovanni Van Bronckhorst the players he wants to mould his squad.
Amad Diallo and James Sands have already arrived on loan from Manchester United and New York City FC respectively, and we could now see Aaron Ramsey head to Glasgow.
Tuttosport in Italy already claimed that negotiations were in progress regarding the loan move of the Juventus midfielder, and Calciomercato have something similar.
They point out that after rejecting all of the English clubs that have come forward, ‘it is a Scottish team that has whetted Aaron Ramsey’s imagination in the end’, meaning Rangers.
However, ‘time passes and the Welshman of Juve has not yet made a final decision’, but there is hope from the Serie A side that the former Arsenal man ‘can tear down the wall that he has been erecting for months, for money and pride’.
Basically, Juventus want him to go to Rangers, as they know that a move to Ibrox would alleviate some of their wage bill, as it’s somewhat inconceivable for Van Bronckhorst’s side to take on the entirety of his huge salary.
Either way, this is, as Calciomercato put it, a ‘situation in the making’.
