It’s been a long time since Cristiano Ronaldo started being linked with a return to Manchester United. The Portuguese star never hid the feelings he has for the Red Devils, and in most summer windows, we see a move back to Old Trafford being mentioned by the European press.

With things not going great at Juventus, who are out of the fight for the titles of Serie A and the Champions League, the Italian media reckons he could leave the Old Lady sooner than expected.

CalcioMercato.it features a story saying Ronaldo ‘wants to escape’ and ‘only has one hope’. That would be Paris Saint Germain.

In theory, the 36-year-old would have open doors at both Real Madrid and Manchester United, but these aren’t possibilities for now. Starting with the Galacticos, who are said to be the priority, the club ‘made official their no’ when getting to know the real chances of signing Kylian Mbappé.

In Manchester United’s case, it’s said the club still ‘intrigues’ Ronaldo, but the Red Devils haven’t shown their interest in even talking about that.

Cristiano Ronaldo is said not to be worried about money, as he feels like he has short time to try to win another Champions League title, and the only path he has now would be PSG.
