Manchester United star Paul Pogba’s contract expires in June and without an agreement with the Red Devils over a new deal, he will leave Old Trafford as a free agent for the second time.
According to IlBiancoNero, the midfielder is the ‘dream long cherished’ by Juventus, a club where he spent four seasons between 2012 and 2016, before returning to United.
It’s claimed ‘consent has been already given’ to the move by the 28-year-old.
The France international shares close ties with his former teammates, who are still at the Turin club. This can support the potential operation, along with the help of a decisive figure like his agent, Mino Raiola, who has good ties with the Old Lady.
With Pogba’s contract at United expiring at the end of this season, he can change clubs on a free transfer.
The only obstacle for Massimiliano Allegri’s side is the salary. In addition to this, he will be entitled to receive a signing on bonus plus a commission has to be paid to his agent.
Juventus have adapted a new salary structure and the World Cup winner will be forced to take a pay cut, if he were to join them.
Apart from the salary, they must also pay ‘great attention’ to the competition from Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain.
Los Blancos are firm favourites to sign Kylian Mbappé on a free transfer and his arrival in the Spanish capital could be ‘tempting’ for Pogba to pick Real Madrid over other suitors.
