According to a claim in the Turkish media, Wolverhampton Wanderers have tabled a bid to sign Stoke City midfielder Badou Ndiaye.
There is uncertainty with regards to the Senegal international’s future with the Championship side and he’s also been linked with a return to his former club Galatasaray in recent weeks.
Fanatik today report Wolves have made a €25m bid to sign Ndiaye as they look to bolster their squad ahead of next season.
Wolves have been linked with a number of players since their promotion to the Premier League and last month it was claimed in Turkey the English club is a possible destination for the Stoke City player.
It’s been well documented Ndiaye could leave Stoke City after their relegation to the second tier, with Galatasaray keen to loan the Senegalese.
However, with Wolves looking for a permeant deal this may be more appealing to the Potters. It’s been reported on a number of occasions Ndiaye has a buyout clause if Stoke City dropped into the Championship, and surely €25m would meet that.
A note of caution is needed, especially given all the Ndiaye transfer rumours coming of Turkey.
