Voetbal International in the Netherlands are reporting that Sheffield Wednesday have reached an agreement over the transfer of Darryl Lachman.
Lachman joined Sheffield Wednesday in 2015 from Eredivisie club Twente, but the 26 year old central defender was unable to make a success of his time in the Championship.
During the winter transfer window, Lachman was loaned back to dutch football for a period with SC Cambuur.
He managed to do enough during that short spell to impress someone at Willem II.
Dutch magazine Voetbal International say a verbal agreement has been reached for the move. Lachman will sign a contract with Willem, as long as he sails through his medical tests.
The claims were revealed via Voetbal International journalist Dennis van Bergen, and there’s no clarity on whether it’s a loan or permanent deal.
