Carlos Carvalhal keeps his scouts pretty aware of the football talents in Portugal. No matter if the game is big or small, Sheffield Wednesday have been frequently represented by officials in the Liga NOS.

This time, representatives were sent to watch Belenenses play against Vitória de Setúbal. It turned out to be a great game, with the away team opening up a 2-0 lead and Belenenses almost getting an equalizer in the end.

It’s A Bola who are reporting that the Owls had scouts at the game, although they can’t really say which player they were specifically watching.

His teammates João Amaral and Zé Manoel also had very good performances.

Sheffield Wednesday haven’t been linked to any players from these clubs lately, neither have they scouted their games. Carvalhal probably tells his staff to keep an eye on the league, as he knows there are plenty of unknown talents there.
