Sheffield United are the only Premier League side yet to register a league win in 12 matches played so far.

Having struggled to replicate last campaign’s results, the Blades are sitting at the bottom of the table with just one point.

The same story of woe doesn’t extend to Sheffield United midfielder Sander Berge. The Norway international has featured in every league match and even scored in his side’s defeat against Liverpool.

Last month, VG in Norway reported Arsenal are still keen on signing the 22-year-old, while Chris Wilder admitted the Blades are aware of interest in Berge.

Another report from the same outlet now looks at the future of a handful of Norwegian players, and VG have included Berge in the list.

It’s claimed the former Genk man’s performances against Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester City have shown that he has the ability to do well in the Premier League.

According to VG, Berge is ‘closely followed’ by top clubs in England and abroad, but they don’t reveal which ‘top’ English sides who are closely following the player.

The report further explains it’s ‘very unlikely’ for Berge to stay at Bramall Lane beyond this season, irrespective of whether or not Sheffield United avoid relegation.
