AS Roma goalkeeper Robin Olsen could once again move to England, according to the latest reports from the Italian media.

A couple of local stories now say the 31-year-old is close on joining Sheffield United on a loan deal.

Calcio Mercato is one of the outlets reporting it. They say Sheffield United and Roma already had an agreement for some time, even though there was no deal with the player.

Now the Blades ‘restabilised relations’ and are said to be ‘one step away’ from signing Olsen on a one-year deal. It’s claimed Venezia also made an attempt, but the 31-year-old seems really to be heading to England.

Meanwhile, Sky Sport is another one bringing the news. They claim Olsen is ‘close’ to joining Sheffield United, although he still needs to find a salary agreement with the club.

Olsen already spent the last season in England during a loan spell at Everton. He made 11 appearances from the Toffees as Carlo Ancelotti’s alternative to Jordan Pickford.
